Crosscrake Church Harvest Festival – 8th October 2018
Crosscrake Church Harvest Festival Service on Sunday 7th October was attended by upwards of 90 people. The traditional service, led by Rev Terry Wilcock saw the people of Crosscrake give thanks for a great harvest. As always on these occasions, the church looked resplendent, with beautiful displays of flowers and fruit in autumn colours.
A further evening service was held, which was attended by around 40 people, with readings and hymns relating to harvesttime. This service was led by Rev Marion Mashiter. Following the evening service, a harvest supper took place at the nearby Punchbowl Pub in Crosscrake, which saw over 50 of the congregation enjoying a traditional pub meal with raffle in aid of the Crosscrake Hub appeal.
A fantastic Harvest Festival enjoyed by everyone who attended!
