Palm Sunday Service 2019
Crosscrake Church was fortunate to have a very special visitor this week when at the start of the Palm Sunday service we were joined by a donkey from nearby Raines Hall Farm.
It has become traditional in our rural parish to start the Palm Sunday service in this way. The congregation then reenacted Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem by processing into church singing the hymn ‘All Glory Laud and Honour’.
Terry led a lively service involving participation from the
congregation. We were blessed with sunshine, albeit with the challenge of a freezing Easterly wind. The donkey behaved impeccably!
