Remembrance Sunday at Crosscrake
A Remembrance Day service took place at Crosscrake Church on Sunday 14th November. There was a great turnout for the service and it was wonderful to see so many people – including parishioners and local groups of children from the Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts, Cubs & Beavers. The Mothers Union also presented their flag.
Following the service in the church building, Rev. Terry Wilcock led a short service of remembrance at the Cenotaph memorial in the church grounds, which included a two minutes silence to remember those lost in conflict. Our thanks to trumpeter Oliver Bateman from Burneside Brass Band, who played the Last Post and Reveille.
